Creditio.es review: a Spanish financial-product matching route, not a card issuer or lender
Creditio.es presents a Spanish Creditio Card route with a short online form and a headline limit of up to €6,000. The headline does not identify the lender, card issuer or decision-maker. Its material-and-transparency disclosure says the operator is not a lender, bank, financial entity or financial adviser; it does not make credit decisions or issue financing offers. Creditio collects enquiry information, analyses it for matching and sends it to participating lenders or other financial-service providers. This review therefore treats Creditio as a lead-generation and prequalification intermediary, not as a payday lender, card issuer or bank.
A responding financial entity decides whether to offer credit, names the contract counterparty, sets the limit, APR/TAE and fees, funds or delivers the product, and administers repayment. Creditio says it does not have access to a partner’s complete financing terms, including TAE. A match, screen message or form submission is neither approval nor a promise of a particular limit. The later written proposal should clearly identify the entity, total cost, repayment mechanics and use of personal data before it is compared with alternatives.
Operator, company record and the limits of the published legal information
Creditio’s Legal Notice identifies WITME ADVERTISING S.L. as the website owner. It publishes NIF B44680262, the Madrid address, and registry details: tomo 35193, folio 195, sección 8, hoja M-632856. An official 2023 BORME incorporation notice describes a communications, image and public-relations consultancy business. A later BORME office-change notice uses H M-789822, I/A 2, so this review records the discrepancy instead of selecting one reference as definitive. Registration identifies the operator; it is not a credit licence or proof that WITME is the lender for a consumer application.
The reviewed Card page, Legal Notice and Privacy Policy do not publish a Banco de España or CNMV financial authorisation number for Creditio or WITME. The material reviewed also does not identify a financial regulator for the platform. The Privacy Policy names the Spanish Data Protection Agency only as the authority for data-protection complaints. It would be inaccurate to call Creditio a regulated lender or to claim that it is unlicensed from the absence of a webpage field. The narrower, evidence-based conclusion is that the operator represents itself as a marketing and matching service; the regulatory position of any actual financing entity must be checked when that entity is named in the personalised proposal.
Credit limits, amounts and terms: card marketing must not be converted into a universal loan offer
The Creditio Card route currently advertises “up to €6,000” and says there is no annual fee. Neither statement supplies a contractual minimum limit, interest rate, billing cycle, repayment term, late-payment price or identity of the issuing entity. The form itself asks a visitor to choose a financing purpose and provide contact, postal-code and DNI/NIE information, then asks about a vehicle, ASNEF/default-list status and other debts. Those questions show that the route profiles an application; they do not disclose a universal underwriting rule or establish that all applicants can obtain a card.
The page also contains generic finance text: €100–€500,000, 61 days–20 years, annual TIN 0%–36%, annual TAE 3%–36%, and a €300 / 67-day zero-cost example. Creditio calls it indicative and says the financial entity decides the final offer. It is not a Creditio Card tariff, limit or repayment plan. A generic network disclosure may describe other finance, whereas a card agreement can have a limit, statement cycle and payment choices absent from the matching page. Confirm them in the partner’s pre-contract information.
Rates, fees and total cost: what Creditio publishes and what only the financial entity can provide
Creditio does not publish a standalone Creditio Card APR/TAE or daily, weekly or monthly rate. Its disclosure says that only the bank or financial entity granting finance can provide terms, rates, charges, renewal, payments and consequences of missed payments. “No annual fee” is not a complete cost schedule: it does not confirm purchase or cash-advance interest, card-management, late, instalment-plan, insurance or balance-transfer charges. Ask the named issuer rather than infer figures from a marketing headline.
The reviewed Creditio Card form has no live calculator showing a reproducible principal, period, interest, fees and total repayment, so this review does not manufacture a representative payment. Its generic €300 / 67-day example reports €0 cost and €300 total repayment, but is explicitly indicative and not a Card quote. Before accepting a partner offer, save the pre-contract information and calculate the actual limit or cash amount, rate, fixed and variable fees, scheduled payments and due dates. For “0%”, identify the product, qualifying period, payment condition and post-promotion rate.
- Wait until the responding financial entity and the exact product are named before treating a match as an offer.
- Record the credit limit or amount, APR/TAE, all fees, payment dates and total cost from the partner’s written documents.
- Separate a no-annual-fee statement from interest, instalment, late-payment and optional-service charges.
- Check whether a 0% promotion applies to the actual product and what ends the promotional treatment.
- Compare the written total cost with an alternative before accepting credit or sharing further documents.
Eligibility, personal data and the online application process
The Legal Notice says that the website is for users aged 18 or older. The Creditio Card form requests a financing purpose, name, surname, email, mobile number, postal code and DNI or NIE. It also asks whether the visitor has a vehicle, is included in a default list such as ASNEF, and has other loans or debt. The reviewed materials do not publish a fixed maximum age, minimum income, employment category, citizenship requirement, bank-account rule or approval score. The Spanish route and postal-code field are useful context, but a future partner’s residency and identity rules remain the rules that decide a particular product.
Creditio’s Privacy Policy says WITME ADVERTISING S.L. acts as controller and, for GDPR purposes, joint controller with ECOMMERCE MASTERMINDS S.L. It describes profiling and automated decisions for more personalised financial products or services, plus data sharing covered by commercial consents. The Card disclosure says participating lenders may independently verify information and creditworthiness through credit-information agencies or consumer reports. No public threshold or approval guarantee is disclosed. Read each consent separately, distinguish processing from optional marketing, and keep a dated copy.
From form submission to funding or card use: separate stages controlled by different parties
The public application is a matching path, not a Creditio credit decision. A visitor completes the form, allows stated data processing, may be connected with a participating financial entity, and receives that entity’s assessment and contractual information if an offer is made. Creditio says the service is free to the consumer and that participating lenders compensate it for advertising. That does not show which entity will respond or what it will offer.
Creditio does not disburse money, deliver a card, manage the credit line or collect repayments. The selected bank or financial entity must state whether the product is a card, instalment loan or another form of finance; how funds or a card are delivered; when the agreement begins; and which account or payment instrument is used. The reviewed page has no contractual review-time or funding-time guarantee. A fast form is not an instant payout promise. Do not make spending decisions on the basis of a prequalification result, and do not send additional documents until the recipient and the purpose of the request are clear.
Repayment, early settlement, missed payments and complaints
As Creditio is not the creditor, it cannot publish one repayment method, early-settlement rule, extension policy or late-payment price for every product. Those terms belong in the final lender or issuer agreement. A card may have statement dates and minimum-payment rules, while a loan may have instalments or one maturity date. Do not assume that a feature on another partner product applies to the offer on screen. Before signing, find and save the repayment, interest, early repayment, cancellation, default, collection and complaints terms.
The generic platform disclosure says that the final financial entity is responsible for rates, charges, renewal, payment and the consequences of missing payments. If repayment may be difficult, contact that named entity before the contractual due date and request written information; do not rely on a matching page or a marketing inbox for a repayment arrangement. Keep copies of the application, consent screen, pre-contract information, final agreement, payment confirmations and support messages. If the issue concerns data use by the platform, the published Legal Notice and Privacy Policy provide WITME contact details and refer to data-protection rights; that route is distinct from a complaint about a financing decision or payment.
Borrow Radar assessment: when the Creditio route may be useful and where caution is essential
The evidence supports a limited use case. Creditio can be a starting point for an adult in Spain who wants to submit one online interest form for financial-product matching and is prepared to review a later offer from a named financial entity. It is not evidence of a direct Creditio Card issuer, an automatic approval route, a guaranteed €6,000 limit or a single published rate. Its form and privacy disclosures make the data path important: the applicant may be profiled, matched and have information assessed independently by participating lenders. Anyone unwilling to permit that route should not treat the platform as a neutral card catalogue.
The route is unsuitable when a person needs a known lender, fixed price or definite funding date before sharing data, or when repayment depends on another high-cost credit. Compare only after a partner is identified: confirm its legal name, relevant regulator information, product type, limit or principal, APR/TAE, fees, payment method, due dates and total amount payable. Consider lower-cost or non-credit alternatives for a temporary expense. Borrow Radar does not recommend Creditio, a partner or a card, or promise approval. The review separates platform claims from facts only a later contract can establish.
- Treat Creditio as an intermediary and wait for the actual lender or issuer to be named.
- Read “up to €6,000” as a marketing ceiling subject to a partner’s individual assessment, not an approved limit.
- Do not use generic €100–€500,000 / 61-day–20-year network text as a Creditio Card tariff.
- Keep the partner’s written APR/TAE, fee and repayment disclosures before accepting the product.
- Separate consent for the application from optional marketing and record the recipient of personal data.
Creditio.es FAQ
- Question 1Is Creditio.es a lender or a credit-card issuer?
- Answer
No. The reviewed Creditio Card disclosure says the operator is not a lender, bank, financial entity or financial adviser, and does not make credit decisions. It collects an enquiry and may send it to participating financial providers.
- Question 2Who makes the final Creditio Card decision?
- Answer
The participating bank or financial entity that responds to the application independently checks information and creditworthiness, decides whether to offer a product and supplies the contract terms.
- Question 3What Creditio Card limit is publicly advertised?
- Answer
The reviewed Creditio Card page advertises a limit of up to €6,000. It does not publish a guaranteed limit or a contractual minimum, and the final limit is subject to the responding entity’s assessment.
- Question 4Does Creditio publish a Creditio Card APR or TAE?
- Answer
No universal Creditio Card APR/TAE is publicly disclosed. Creditio says it does not have access to the full terms, including TAE, of a partner’s financing; the responding entity must supply the actual rate and charges.
- Question 5What information does the Creditio Card form request?
- Answer
The reviewed form requests contact and postal information, DNI or NIE, a purpose, and answers about a vehicle, ASNEF/default-list status, other loans and debt. A participating lender may request further information.
- Question 6How are repayments or late payments handled?
- Answer
Creditio does not manage repayment. Payment method, early settlement, late charges and missed-payment consequences belong to the final agreement with the named financial entity.
