Prestamiau.es review: a Spanish loan-comparison platform, not a lender

Prestamiau.es describes itself as a free comparison service for people in Spain who want to send a preliminary loan request or view partner offers. Its published Terms identify Fininity OÜ as the operator, but also say that Fininity is not a credit institution: it does not issue loans, sign credit agreements or assess a borrower’s creditworthiness. That distinction is central. Prestamiau may collect a questionnaire, show preliminary results and redirect a person to a selected partner, but the partner—not Prestamiau—decides whether to lend, names the final terms and becomes the contractual counterparty.

The public page presents amounts from €100 to €5,000 and calls the service free to use. Those figures describe the comparison route, not a commitment that every applicant will receive a particular amount, rate or time to pay. The accessible footer says that the amount and total repayment can change after the form is completed. Treat a displayed number as indicative until the selected lender’s European Standardised Information, contract and repayment schedule arrive. This review separates the platform’s role, data path and questions for the actual lender.

Amounts, terms and why platform ranges are not individual offers

The homepage says people can compare borrowing options from €100 to €5,000. It also gives a broad “up to six months” message in one section. Its footer, however, says that loans presented on the website have a minimum repayment period of 91 days and a maximum of 120 days. These two official statements do not describe one consistent universal product. The safe reading is that Prestamiau is presenting partner-led options and that a lender may apply a different amount, term, product category or affordability limit to each person. The signed agreement, not the platform selector, determines the money received and the date it must be repaid.

Do not rely on the maximum amount as a borrowing target. A partner may offer less, decline the request, require extra information or use another repayment structure after it reviews identity, income, expenses and current commitments. Before selecting an offer, record the proposed principal, deductions, every payment, due date and total euros. Recalculate if the live term differs from marketing text; partner terms remain non-interchangeable.

TAE, the public 0% example and the cost that the partner must disclose

Prestamiau states that the TAE shown across its available credit options can range from 0% to 36%, depending on the borrower’s circumstances and credit history. The footer gives one public example: €300 repaid after 95 days with €0 cost, €300 total repayment and 0% TAE. This is an example on a comparison platform, not proof of a permanent rate, a guaranteed promotion or the price of every partner loan. Fininity says that it does not charge the user a commission for selecting a loan, but a lender can still set interest, fees, optional services, penalties and a different total repayment in its own agreement.

A useful comparison has two layers. First, check the partner’s TAE, interest, commissions, total payment and calendar—not just the banner range. Second, compare the cash that reaches the account with the money that must be available by every due date. Do not turn a published annual percentage into a supposed daily or monthly rate: Prestamiau does not publish a single platform tariff, and a partner’s pricing may use another structure. If a 0% offer is shown, preserve the screen and ask the lender to confirm the qualifying amount, first-loan condition, term, payment behaviour required to keep the price, and what changes after a delay.

  1. Record the named partner lender before leaving the Prestamiau route.
  2. Save the partner’s ESIS or other pre-contract information showing TAE, fees and total repayment.
  3. Compare the total euros and payment dates with the amount that actually reaches the bank account.
  4. Treat a 0% example as conditional until the lender states the condition in writing.

Eligibility, application data and partner decision-making

Prestamiau’s public requirements say that a user must be at least 18, live in Spain, have a bank account in their own name, hold a current DNI or NIE, have stable income and provide a telephone number and email address. The Privacy Notice explains that a preliminary application can contain much more: identity and contact information, address, requested amount and purpose, income amount and source, household expenses, housing payment, IBAN, employment details, education, existing loans and the result of a preliminary partner decision. These are data categories for the application service, not a published approval formula.

The Notice says Fininity sends the questionnaire data to partner credit institutions and credit intermediaries so they can make their own approval or refusal decision. It can then compare the offers obtained and redirect the user to the selected partner for further processing. A stable income statement on the homepage does not create a fixed public minimum, and the reviewed documents do not set one universal employment category, maximum age, card requirement or credit-history rule. Applicants should read the consent wording carefully, identify recipients, decline optional marketing where the interface permits it and avoid submitting a request until the lender and total repayment can be checked.

From preliminary match to funding and repayment

The process described by Prestamiau is not the same as money being paid out. The homepage says a user completes an online form, receives personalised offers from several lenders and, after choosing, receives money directly in a bank account. It also uses a marketing claim of obtaining a loan “in five minutes” and says the whole platform process can take no more than 30 minutes. The Terms are more precise about responsibility: a partner independently reviews the data and determines approval and lending conditions. Verification, a partner’s contract process, bank cut-off times and the receiving bank can all change the arrival time.

Prestamiau does not receive repayments. Its footer says the lender will contact the borrower by email, phone or ordinary mail to describe and agree the payment schedule. That makes the lender’s agreement the source for bank transfer details, card collection, direct debit, instalments, reference numbers and the time at which payment counts as received. Keep the proposal, agreement and payment confirmation. If a person does not know who will debit the account or where a transfer should go, they have not yet reached a sufficiently clear repayment arrangement to accept a loan.

Early repayment, extensions, late payment and complaints

Prestamiau is not the creditor, so it does not publish a platform-wide early-repayment figure, cancellation process or grace period for the loans displayed through its route. These rights and charges belong to the lender named in the selected agreement. The public footer says that a lender may have the possibility to extend or renew a loan under its original terms. It does not give a common price, eligibility rule or new schedule for such an extension. Before agreeing to any change, ask the lender for the revised due date, every fee, interest, total repayment and the effect of an early settlement in writing.

For a late payment, Prestamiau advises contacting the lender directly. It warns that overdue payments may generate additional charges or interest and may negatively affect credit history, but it does not state an amount, cap or calculation method. Those outcomes must not be guessed from the platform text. Contact the named lender before the due date if repayment may be difficult, ask for documented options and retain every message. For a privacy concern with Prestamiau’s own data handling, the Privacy Notice provides [email protected] and identifies the Spanish AEPD as a data-protection complaint authority; neither replaces the lender’s complaints process for a credit contract.

Borrow Radar view: when a comparison route may or may not fit

The verified value of Prestamiau is limited to its comparison and preliminary-application role: it may let an adult Spain resident see or request partner offers without a platform service fee. The important trade-off is the data path. The Privacy Notice lists detailed personal, financial, employment and household information that may be shared with partner institutions or intermediaries for a decision. That can be appropriate for a genuine application, but it is not a reason to accept a vague price, unnamed creditor or uncertain repayment date. A comparison result is useful only when the next screen identifies the party that will actually lend and service the debt.

This route may be appropriate for someone who needs to compare a small number of clearly explained offers, can repay the selected lender’s total balance from reliable income and is prepared to review each partner document. It is not suitable for a recurring budget gap, an expectation of guaranteed approval or a plan to use an extension as the normal payment strategy. Before continuing, compare the final offer with lower-cost alternatives, confirm whether the request will be shared with more than one partner and make sure the full repayment still leaves room for essentials. Prestamiau is an intermediary, not a promise of credit or a recommendation of a lender.

  • Identify the lender that signs the agreement; Fininity OÜ is not that lender.
  • Compare partner TAE, fees, total repayment and dates in euros.
  • Read the personal-data recipients and marketing permissions before submitting the form.
  • Do not treat a preliminary result, five-minute message or €5,000 range as approval.
  • Contact the selected lender early if the agreed payment may be missed.

Prestamiau.es FAQ

Question 1Is Prestamiau.es a lender?
Answer

No. Its Terms say that Fininity OÜ is not a credit institution, does not issue loans, sign credit agreements or assess creditworthiness. A selected partner makes the lending decision and contract.

Question 2What loan amount can Prestamiau show?
Answer

The public website presents €100 to €5,000, but the selected lender and individual assessment determine whether any offer is available and on what terms.

Question 3Is Prestamiau free to use?
Answer

Prestamiau states that its platform service is free and that it does not charge a selection commission. This does not mean a partner loan has no interest, fee or penalty.

Question 4What does a Prestamiau loan cost?
Answer

There is no single Prestamiau loan price. The platform states a 0%–36% TAE range and gives one €300 / 95-day / €0-cost example. The selected lender’s written offer controls the actual cost.

Question 5Does Prestamiau send the money?
Answer

No. The selected partner lender transfers funds after its own approval and contract process. A preliminary result or marketing timing statement is not a payout guarantee.

Question 6What happens if repayment is late?
Answer

Prestamiau says to contact the lender directly. Charges, extension options, collection steps and any credit-file effect depend on the lender agreement.
